Vimy Ridge Tribute 2017

In the spring of 2017, Alex purchased one of our new "Canadian Beavers" and told us that he was travelling to the Vimy Ridge Memorial in France in remembrance of the First World War in 1917 with several other youth. He took the knitted beaver with him and hence "The Travelling Canadian Beaver" became a patriotic symbol of Canada on his travels. He came back with stories, pictures and a few gifts for us. Vimy Ridge is an important part of our Canadian heritage and it coincides with Canada's 150 Birthday Celebrations. Let us honor and remember all of the Canadians, who fought, supported and gave their lives to protect Canada. To find out more about Vimy Ridge, please visit:
